Are the mattresses compatible with an adjustable base?

Yes, all our mattresses are compatible with a flat foundation, a platform bed, a slatted base and an adjustable base.

How does each mattress rank on a comfort (firmness) and support scale?

On a comfort scale of 1 – 10, 1 being the softest and 10 being the firmness, here are how our
mattresses fall on the scale:

What is the difference between comfort & support?

Comfort is your personal preference of cushioning, feel (firm or plush), and the amount of pressure relief. Wolf mattresses are designed to offer different comfort levels depending on what you prefer. Support refers to the ability of the mattress to maintain proper Spinal Alignment and support your back & body while you
sleep. A mattress needs to offer a balance of both comfort & support to provide restful sleep.

Do the Wolf Hybrid mattresses have edge support?

Yes, all Wolf mattresses have a reinforced edge system.  The coil unit has rows of thicker gauge coils on the sides to create a firmer edge for sitting and to maximize the sleep surface of each mattress. 

Is there a specific way to unbox and set up the mattress?

While it is still in its plastic packaging, place it directly on your
mattress foundation or bed frame. It's important to note that once the mattress
begins expanding, it becomes more challenging to move. By keeping it in the
plastic during this initial placement, you can easily maneuver it up stairs and
through doorways, taking advantage of the compact size of the box.

Once the mattress is in position on the foundation, carefully cut the
plastic wrapping with the provided opener and observe the exciting moment as
the mattress expands to its full size. This method allows for a hassle-free
unboxing experience while ensuring that the mattress is correctly positioned
for optimal comfort and support.

How long does it take for the mattress to fully expand and be ready for use?

The average our customers see is between 24 to 48 hours for your mattress
in a box to fully expand and regain its intended shape and size. Immediately
when the plastic is cut the vacuum seal is broken and your mattress will start
decompressing and expanding immediately.

It is generally recommended to allow the mattress to fully expand in a
well-ventilated room for at least 24 hours before using it. Keep in mind that
temperature and humidity can also affect the expansion process. Make sure to
give it some time for it to reach its optimal firmness and for any residual
odors to dissipate.

What is the recommended care and maintenance for the mattress?

Make sure you have a sturdy bed frame that can support the weight of the
mattress and the people sleeping on it. 
Avoid using a bed frame that is too soft or unstable, as it can cause
the mattress to sag and lose its shape. A king & queen sized mattress,
should be supported by a bed frame with extra legs or additional slats that are
spaced closely together in the center. This will help maintain proper spinal
alignment and prevent uneven weight distribution. A proper base will also
ensure that the mattress is properly supported and does not sag or lose its
shape likely voiding the warranty.

Like any mattress we recommend the use a mattress protector: A mattress
protector can help protect your mattress from spills, stains, and other
accidents. It's also a good idea to use a waterproof mattress protector to
prevent any liquids from seeping into the mattress.

Does the mattress have an odor, and if so, how long does it take for the smell to dissipate?

Because the mattress just came made fresh from the factory where it was vacuum sealed through the compression process it’s possible that there may be some odor. Any odor is temporary and should dissipate in 24-48 hours.

Do the Wolf mattresses contain toxic materials?

Is there a weight limit on the mattresses?

No, there is no weight limit on our Wolf mattresses. They have tested for durability up to 500lbs.

Is there any fiberglass in the mattress?

No. We use rayon fibers that are inherently fire retardant as our FR barrier, the fiber is not treated and does not contain fiber glass.

Shipping & Returns

Where does Wolf Mattress ship from?

Wolf Mattresses ship from one of our two factories located in Fort Wayne, Indiana facility or our East Windsor, CT facility.

Once I place my order, how long does it take to receive it?

Each mattress is hand made to order, which takes about 2-3 days. You can expect to receive your mattress 5-7 days after you place your order.

What is the Return Policy?

We’re thrilled to offer you our exclusive 101-Night Mattress Trial, designed to give you complete peace of mind and the opportunity to truly experience the comfort and quality of our mattresses.

In the event that you are not satisfied for any reason, we require you to sleep on your new mattress for at least 30 days before requesting a return. If you are not satisfied after 30 days, please contact us and we will coordinate a return, exchange and/or refund.

We stand behind the quality of our mattresses, and your satisfaction is our top priority and believe in making your experience as effortless as possible.

What if I buy the wrong mattress and don’t like the feel?

Your comfort and satisfaction matter to us, that is why we have a 101 Nite Trial. If, within the 101-night trial period, you find that the mattress isn’t the perfect fit for you, simply contact our customer support team after you have tried the mattress for 30 days and we will coordinate a refund. We stand behind the quality of our mattresses, and your satisfaction is our top priority and believe in making your experience as effortless as possible.

What is the warranty coverage on the mattress?

Your memory foam hybrid mattress is covered by a limited lifetime warranty after you purchase it. This means that if your mattress has a defect covered under the warranty, we will repair or replace it. This includes all
parts of the mattress determined to have a defect.

The limited warranty covers the following instances during normal use only. It's important to note that the warranty does not cover damage caused by
improper use or neglect, such as stains, spills, or tears. Additionally, the
warranty may not cover sagging or dipping in certain areas if it's caused by an
uneven distribution of weight or improper support.
